Civil Service College (CSC) is a leading provider of high quality, bespoke executive education for senior staff in the civil service and public sector throughout the UK and around the world. We offers innovative training courses across subjects, from accountability and governance to leadership training, finance management, project management and personal development.

We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated individual to join our diverse London based team as our Finance Manager. You will be at the heart of our financial operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance while driving strategic initiatives. You will play a key role in ensuring Civil Service College’s financial sustainability and supporting our mission to deliver impactful learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing day-to-day financial process, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting Preparing and presenting management accounts to senior leadership
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and overseeing audits
  • Leading cash flow management, payroll, supplier payments and financial controls
  • Contributing to strategic planning through financial analysis and insights

This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented AAT-qualified professional with following skills:

  • Proven experience in financial management, ideally in the education or training sector.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly to a range of stakeholders.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and process improvement.
  • Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude

The role will be based in London.
