Chartered Accountant

I am seeking a Chartered Accountant for a well–established client in the centre of Halifax town.

The role of a chartered accountant includes:

– Managing financial systems and budgets

– Conducting financial audits and providing advice

– Liaising with clients to offer financial information and guidance

– Reviewing company systems and assessing risk

– Testing to verify financial information and systems

– Advising on tax planning within current laws to minimize tax liability and addressing tax–related issues in business activities like acquisitions and mergers

– Keeping accounting records and preparing accounts and management information for small businesses

– Consulting on business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions

– Guiding clients on business improvement or insolvency matters

– Detecting and preventing fraud

– Supervising junior staff

– Working with internal and external auditors to address financial irregularities as they occur

– Generating reports and recommendations post–audits

– Preparing financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts

– Organizing financial management reports, including financial planning and forecasting

– Consulting on tax and treasury matters

– Negotiating terms with suppliers.

Candidates must be suitably qualified.
